About Refacello, a cabinet refacing company for Chicagoland and Wisconsin
We reface kitchen cabinets for homeowners across the Chicago area and Wisconsin. One trade, one process, and a team that knows both well.
Why we focus on refacing
Refacello is a cabinet refacing company. We work in kitchens across Chicagoland and Wisconsin, and refacing sits at the center of every project we take on. We also install countertops, backsplash and sinks, but that work is planned around refacing, not the other way around.
Focus matters in this trade. Refacing is finish carpentry: veneer has to be cut and wrapped cleanly around face frames, doors have to hang straight on boxes that are rarely perfectly square, and end panels have to match the doors beside them. Crews who do this week after week get cleaner and more consistent at it than crews who fit one refacing job between bathroom remodels.
Focus also keeps our schedule honest. We aren’t juggling demolition, drywall or plumbing reroutes, so timelines are predictable: about 4–6 weeks from final measure to install, then 3–5 days in your kitchen for a typical project.

Keep what works, replace what shows
Most kitchens we visit tell the same story. The layout works, the cabinet boxes are solid, and the homeowner is tired of worn doors, dated oak or a finish that has started to peel. Tearing all of that out to fix a surface problem is expensive and disruptive.
So we keep the parts that still do their job and replace the parts you see and touch every day. Refacing typically costs 30–50% less than replacing cabinets with comparable new ones, and there’s no demolition. If you’re weighing both options, our guide to refacing vs. replacing cabinets lays out the trade-offs.
Refacing isn’t right for every kitchen. If boxes are water-damaged or the layout truly doesn’t work for you, your designer will say so at the consultation.
- New doors and drawer fronts in Shaker, raised panel or flat panel styles
- Matching veneer on face frames and exposed end panels
- New hinges, pulls and knobs
- Options such as soft-close hinges, pull-outs, crown molding and under-cabinet lighting

What you can hold us to
Values are easy to print on a wall. These are behaviors, and you can check every one of them on your own project.
-
We show up when we say
Consultations and install days start in the window we give you. If something changes on our side, you hear about it from us before that window, not after it.
-
We protect your home
Floors and countertops are covered before tools come out, and the work area is cleaned at the end of every day.
-

Questions about Refacello
Have a question we didn’t answer? Call (630) 555-0140 or send us a note.
Do you only do cabinet refacing?
Refacing is our core service. We also install countertops, backsplash, sinks and faucets, and we handle kitchen remodels built around refacing. We don’t move walls, plumbing stacks or gas lines.
Who will I work with on my project?
An in-home designer handles the consultation and quote. After you decide, one project manager takes over from the precision measure through the final walk-through, and a refacing crew does the installation.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Refacello is licensed and insured. Ask your project manager if you’d like proof of insurance before work begins.
Which areas do you serve?
Chicago and its suburbs in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, Will, McHenry and Kendall counties, plus the Madison/Dane County area, Milwaukee and Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha in Wisconsin. See all service areas.
How do I get started?
Book a free in-home design consultation, or visit a showroom first to see doors and finishes in person. The consultation takes about 60–90 minutes and there’s no obligation. Contact us to schedule.
