Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect the information you share with us on this website, by phone and text, and during your project.
Last updated: October 26, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Refacello Cabinet Refacing (“Refacello,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit refacello.online, fill out one of our forms, call or text us, visit a showroom or become a customer. This website is intended for people in the United States. By using the website or submitting your information, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a consultation, ask a question, request service, take part in a promotion or apply for a job, you may give us:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, street address and ZIP code.
- Project details: the rooms and work you’re interested in, timing, measurements, style preferences and any photos you choose to upload.
- Communication preferences, including your choice about receiving calls and text messages about your consultation and project.
- Customer records: contract, scheduling, billing and warranty information if you hire us.
- Referral information: if you refer someone through our referral program, the name and contact details you give us for that person.
- Job applications: your résumé, work history and other details you choose to send.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, the page that referred you, the date and time of your visit and your approximate location based on your IP address. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, described below.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from people who refer you through our referral program, from financing partners if you apply for financing (for example, whether an application was approved), and from advertising and analytics providers (for example, which ad brought you to our website).
How we use your information
- To respond to your requests and to schedule, prepare for and conduct your consultation.
- To prepare quotes, measure, order materials, and complete and support your project.
- To provide customer service and handle warranty and service requests.
- To send messages about appointments, project updates and service visits.
- To send occasional emails about our services and current offers. Each one includes an unsubscribe link.
- To operate, secure and improve the website, and to understand which pages and ads are useful.
- To process referrals and run promotions.
- To review job applications.
- To prevent fraud and spam, enforce our terms and conditions and comply with legal obligations.
Phone calls and text messages
Our forms include an optional checkbox to consent to calls and text messages. If you check it, you agree that Refacello may call and text the phone number you provided about your consultation and project, such as scheduling, reminders, quotes and follow-up. Some of these calls and messages may be sent using automated technology.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can request a consultation and buy from us without agreeing to calls or texts. If you don’t consent, we’ll use the other contact details you gave us.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of texts. We may send one final message confirming your opt-out. Reply HELP for help, or email us at [email protected].
- To stop phone calls, tell the person who calls you or contact us, and we will add your number to our internal do-not-call list.
- Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except service providers that help us deliver our messages.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use cookies, pixels and similar tools for three purposes:
- Essential: to make forms work, remember your choices and protect the website from spam and abuse.
- Analytics: to understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from. We use third-party analytics services that may set their own cookies.
- Advertising: to measure how our ads perform and, in some cases, to show our ads on other websites and social media to people who have visited our website.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies. Some parts of the website, such as forms, may not work properly without essential cookies. Advertising platforms also offer their own ad preference settings. Where required by applicable law, we treat recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of targeted advertising for that browser.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers that work on our behalf, such as website hosting, email, phone and text messaging, scheduling, customer management, analytics and advertising providers, and the contractors and suppliers who help us complete your project. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Financing partners, only when you apply for financing or ask us to start an application for you. Your application is also subject to the lender’s own privacy policy.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with the law, a subpoena or a court order, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Refacello, our customers or others.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, in which case the information remains subject to this policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. If you request a consultation and don’t become a customer, we keep your information for a reasonable period in case you decide to move forward, then delete or de-identify it. For customers, we keep project, contract and warranty records for as long as your warranty is in effect and as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. We keep records of text message consent and opt-outs for as long as needed to show that we honored them.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on this website and access limited to people who need the information to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please don’t send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or other sensitive financial details through our website forms or by email. Financing applications are completed through our lending partners’ own application process.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We may still send messages about an active consultation, project or service request.
- Texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Calls: ask to be placed on our internal do-not-call list.
- Cookies: adjust your browser settings as described above.
- Access, correction and deletion: contact us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We may need to keep some records, such as contracts and warranty information, when the law requires it or to complete a transaction you requested.
State privacy rights
Some U.S. states give residents specific rights over their personal information. Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to us, these may include the right to:
- know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, and get a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information;
- opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information or certain kinds of profiling;
- appeal our decision if we deny your request.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, for example by matching information you give us with information we already have. Where state law allows, you may use an authorized agent, and we may ask the agent for proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Links to other websites
Our website may link to websites we don’t control, such as financing partners, social media and maps. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will also give more prominent notice, such as a notice on the website.
